The Story Behind This Website

The origin of LTH2Power was the search for a solution to generate electrical energy from industrial waste heat with temperatures below 300°C, known as low-temperature heat.
The next milestones were:
– the discovery of the Trilateral Cycle (TLC process) as a thermodynamic power cycle
– the realization that the TLC process can generate significantly more energy than the ORC process
– there are significantly more low-temperature heat sources for a TLC power plant than just industrial waste heat
– the development of the TLC Tower, the world’s first heat engine designed specifically for the TLC process
– the development of the TLC Rotor, a very simply constructed rotating heat engine for the TLC process that, despite sensitive boundary conditions, offers investment security through low manufacturing costs
